Get Started with ABA ("we," "us") operates getstartedwithaba.com (the "Site"), a free service that connects families with independent ABA therapy providers. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

When you submit our matching form or chat with us, we collect the information you provide: your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code or town, your child's age range, and the kind of care you prefer. Some of our forms also ask whether your child has an autism diagnosis and your insurance type; the forms that offer to share your request with providers who pay us ask neither. We also collect basic technical data such as your IP address, the page you were on, and the time of submission.

How we use your information

• To match you with ABA therapy providers in or near your area;
• To contact you (by phone or email) about your request and those matches;
• To share your inquiry with ABA providers near you;
• To operate, secure, and improve the Site.

Sharing

We share your inquiry with independent ABA providers so they can follow up with you, and more than one provider may receive it. We may disclose information if required by law.

Providers who pay us. When you agree to it on our form or in our chat, we share your request with up to 3 ABA providers near you, and each of those providers pays us a fee for it. It costs you nothing. We share your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code or town, your child's age range, and the kind of care you asked for. We do not share your child's diagnosis or your insurance details with them. We do not recommend or endorse any provider, and a provider's fee does not change the order or content of anything on this Site.

When your request is shared, we email you (if you gave us an email address) the name and contact details of each provider who received it, with a link to stop any further sharing.

Your choices

You can opt out of contact at any time by telling us or any provider who reaches out. To stop us sharing your request with any more providers, use the link in our email or write to us. To access, correct, or delete your information, contact us at privacy@getstartedwithaba.com.

Consent to be contacted

By submitting the form, you consent to be contacted by us and by the independent ABA providers we share your inquiry with, at the phone number and email you provide, including by automated means where applicable and where the form you used said so. Providers who pay to receive a request agree to contact you only about ABA services and to stop if you ask. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. This form is not for medical emergencies. If you have an emergency, call 911.

Data security

The Site is served over HTTPS, and we limit access to submitted information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

The Site is intended for use by parents and caregivers, not by children. Forms that offer to share a request with providers who pay us are for parents and guardians 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children.

Terms of Use

Get Started with ABA is a referral and matching service. We are not a medical provider, and nothing on this Site is medical advice. Providers in our network are independent and responsible for the care they deliver. Some providers pay us to receive requests from families; we do not recommend or endorse any provider. We make no guarantee of availability, insurance coverage, outcomes, or results. The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
